Winning Youth Skill Week 2025 – Recognized by the Mumbai Suburban Collector

In July 2025, the District Skill Development, Employment & Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, Mumbai Suburban organized Youth Skill Week, one of the biggest inter-college skill and innovation events in the region. Almost every major college from the Mumbai suburban zone participated, making the competition intense and full of talent. Our team represented our college with E-Kaathi, showcasing not just the product but the purpose, impact, and innovation behind it. During the event, we had an unexpected but powerful moment the Collector of Mumbai Suburban, Mr. Saurabh Katiyar, personally visited our campus to review selected innovative projects. We got the chance to present E-Kaathi directly to him, explain how it supports visually impaired individuals, and demonstrate its features live. He appreciated the clarity, practicality, and impact of the solution. By the end of the competition, we emerged as the winners of Youth Skill Week 2025. What made the victory even more meaningful was what followed Mr. Saurabh Katiyar personally invited our team to his office for a special felicitation, acknowledging our work and encouraging us to continue building solutions with real social value. This event strengthened our belief that E-Kaathi isn’t just a project it’s a solution with the power to transform everyday safety and independence for visually impaired individuals.
